Who is Nerija?
I am Nérija Vencamah and I am from Tamarin, on the west coast of Mauritius. I like swimming, playing football, hanging our with my friends and working out at the gym.
I had always had a desire to become a photographer / videographer and eventually set up a studio in Mauritius.
My first job was a kitchen trainee at a Mauritian Hotel. It was a difficult and demanding job where I learnt that dedication is how everything is achieved in life. I have done many small jobs while I honed my skills as a photographer. All of which have helped me developed as a person and realise the importance proper customer service.
My big break as a photographer came in 2014 when I was hired by the Casela Nature Park. It was an amazing experience to be able to live off my passion as a photographer and tourist guide. Realising I needed to improve further, I started a photography course at Focus.
In 2021, I have decided to take a leap and launch my own business : Nerija Photography. I hope to be able to help those seeking
